The Laboratory of Landscape Archaeology & Remote Sensing (LAP&T) is aimed to the documentation and the understating of the past through the development, application and integration of a wide range of survey techniques including aerial survey, geophysical prospections, satellite remote sensing, phtotogrammetry, 3D visualization, landscape modelling and GIS.

The LAP&T was established in 2003 to stimulate change in the way archaeologists in the Mediterranean world study the archaeology of landscapes, moving from an essentially site-based approach to a truly landscape-scale perspective.
